In winter, the Civetta District becomes the paradise of all ski lovers, with 80 km of ski runs, both easy and difficult slopes, theatre of the World Cup. The ski lifts of the valley district, divided into two poles, i.e. Pecol and Palafavera, are connected to Alleghe and Selva di Cadore districts. The cross-country enthusiasts can choose between two slopes: the 3-km-long "Mareson" and the 5-km-long "Palafavera". And those who wish to ski in lonely places, away from the crowd, can enjoy splendid routes through silent woods and snowy fields... Val di Zoldo gives you the possibility of skiing also by night on the famous ski runs where the World Cup races took place. At Pecol there are four lighted slopes (Cristelin 1, Cristelin 2, Foppe and the Camp Ski School), served by the Pian del Crep cableway: thus Pecol has become a night ski resort. |
